Malgorzata Agnieszka Jarossová, PhD

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ing. Malgorzata Agnieszka Jarossová graduated from the Wrocław University of Economics and Business in Poland in the Food Technology and Human Nutrition, study program: Management and Engineering of the Food Industry. She obtained a Master’s degree in 2003 and started working at the Department of Quality Analysis. In 2011 she obtained  Ph.D.  degree in Food Technology and Nutrition from the Faculty of Engineering and Economics at the  Wrocław University of Economics and Business in Poland. Since 2012, she has been working at the University of Economics in Bratislava in Slovak Republic (2012-2020 at the Department of Commodity Science and Product Quality, since 2020 to present at the Department of Marketing). She cooperates with The Ekotrend Slovakia – Association of Organic Agriculture, the ISOCERT sp. z o.o. (certification body in Poland) and international companies such as Nestlé, UNILEVER. Her scientific interests include food and packaging quality and safety, quality and safety management systems, food and packaging innovation, product packaging and labelling, organic food, green products, consumer behavior, and industrial property. Currently, she is the leader of the VEGA project no. 1/0398/22 Status and perspectives of the market development of healthy, environmentally friendly and carbon-neutral products in Slovakia and the European Union (2022-2025). She was the leader of the project VEGA 1/0635/14 State and perspectives of developing the organic food market, and traditional and regional food in Slovakia (2014-2016).
