Julia Wojciechowska-Solis, PhD
Dr. Julia Wojciechowska-Solis graduated from Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin with a degree in Economics. She received her master’s degree in 2004. She also began her doctoral studies at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin in 2005. In 2010, she received her PhD in Economics from the Faculty of Economics with a specialization in quality economics . Her research interests include the market for organic, local, traditional and regional food with a particular focus on distribution channels for organic products and consumer behavior in the aforementioned market. Another area of her research is processes related to rural development and entrepreneurship in rural areas. She is the author and co-author of more than 80 scientific publications in Polish and English, including two monographs in Polish. Member of three Scientific Societies (PTE, PTA, Association of Agricultural and Agribusiness Economists). Head of the NCN research project MINIATURE 5.
