Magdalena Śmiglak, PhD

In 2007, she obtained a PhD in Economics at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). Since 2007, she has been employed as an assistant professor at the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. She authored or co-authored ca. 60 scientific publications, including 4 monographs (IF: 23.2). Her academic achievements are in the field of economic sciences, in the discipline of economics and finance. Her research interests focus on risk management in agriculture, the organic food market, and restitution of the market of native protein plants. Member of the Polish Association of Agricultural and Agribusiness Economists and Member of the Alumni Association of Poznań University of Life Sciences (Audit Committee 2022-2026).
