Consumer Organic v4

The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.

The XXXIII International Scientific Conference “Agrarian Perspectives” was held on September 4.

At the conference, the research results obtained from the implementation of the project “Consumer of Organic Food in the Visegrad Group Countries” on behalf of the research team presented:

  • Julia Wojciechowska-Solis (University of Life Sciences in Lublin) – “Consumer behavior in the organic food market. The example of the Visegrad Group countries”.
  • Joanna Smoluk-Sikorska (University of Life Sciences in Poznań) – “Barriers to consumption of organic food in V4 countries”.

The conference was attended by Julia Wojciechowska-Solis, Joanna Smoluk-Sikorska, Magdalena Smiglak-Krajewska, Stanislav Rojik representing such centers as the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, the University of Life Sciences in Poznań and the University of Life Sciences in Prague.

Participation in the conference was a good opportunity to discuss the tasks performed so far within the project and the next steps necessary for its implementation.

Projekt jest współfinansowany przez rządy Czech, Węgier, Polski i Słowacji w ramach Grantów Wyszehradzkich z Międzynarodowego Funduszu Wyszehradzkiego. Misją funduszu jest promowanie pomysłów na zrównoważoną współpracę regionalną w Europie Środkowej.
