Consumer Organic v4

The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.

On 17 March, as part of the educational campaign ‘Eat Organic – Save the Planet’, at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin a lecture titled: Consumer of Organic Food in the Visegrad Group Countries was held. The lecture was a synthetic summary of the activities of the research team within the framework of the grant Consumer of Organic Food in the Visegrad Group Countries funded by the Visegrad Fund.

Participants the lecture found out:
– what is the consumer profile of organic food in the different V4 countries,
– how to distinguish organic food from other types of food sold on retail outlets,
– who sells the most and who buys the most organic food,
– what is the average expenditure on organic food in the V4 countries.
