Consumer Organic v4

The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.

On June 25, 2025, Dr. Joanna Smoluk-Sikorska, Dr. Magdalena Śmiglak-Krajewska, and Dr. Mariusz Malinowski conducted a lecture and a series of workshops on organic food and organic farming as part of the Eat Organic – Save the Planet series within the project Consumer of Organic Food in the Visegrad Group Countries, funded by the Visegrad Fund.

The event was part of a series of workshops held in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. The series aims to raise awareness among young people about organic food. During this event, we welcomed pupils from primary and secondary schools, as well as university students. During the lecture, participants learned about the characteristics of organic food, the benefits of consuming it, and facts about organic farming. They also gained insight into the stringent nature of the organic-food certification process and how to recognize it correctly. During the workshop, they were able to apply the knowledge and skills they had gained.
