Consumer Organic v4

The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.

The 28th Scientific Conference “PROBLEMS OF ECONOMY, ECONOMIC POLICY AND PUBLIC FINANCES” took place on September 8-10, organised by the Wrocław University of Economics.

The conference scope focused on the European Union’s cohesion policy and various aspects of national and international economic policy. The conference was held in Karpacz. Participation in this conference enabled the promotion and dissemination of research results obtained during the project to those interested in organic food in Central Europe. The results were presented by Julia Wojciechowska-Solis, who discussed the profiles of organic food consumers from each Visegrad Group country and presented the products that compete with and substitute for organic products. Magdalena Śmiglak-Krajewska, in turn, discussed the barriers to the organic food market in the V4 countries studied, presenting proposals for overcoming them.
